Basement gym, UofU gymnastics, and then some...

So we have a make shift gym downstairs that we workout in often.  While Colby and I stretch we let the kids hang on the bars and play on the rope and they just love it.  A new workout we've been trying is called Crossfit and it has to do with lots of pull-ups, push-ups, plyometrics, heavy weights, circut kind of training.  So far we both really like it, and so do the kids.

We went to a U of U gymnastics meet with all the Holmes's, and the girls had a ball.  Jamie was disappointed when she found out we were just watching, but after she said she's glad we went because she had a lot of fun.

My cute little 16 month old Hunt Man is getting VERY good at climbing, and getting into everything.  He's getting good at getting what he wants too.  He cracks me up and makes me crazy at the same time.  I can't believe that my little baby is now a toddler.  He's growing up to fast.

Jamie had this front tooth that we could not get her to pull.  It was so gross.  It was like that for about 3 or 4 days, she finally bit into something and it fell out.  I told her it was hanging by a thread and when it came out she was staring at it funny and I asked her why, she said because she couldn't see the yarn. lol.  Took me a second to figure out what she was talking about, then I just laughed and said "you mean thread?" lol. Silly girl.  So as of this moment she has 6 teeth that are out, and loves that everyone calls her Toothless, just like the dragon.

Camrie has been my little poser lately.  You take out the camera and she gets all dramatic. I love it.

I got a play dough recipe from my Aunt Molly and so we had a play dough day.  We made it and played with it and had a great time.  More then a month later and the play dough is still great, but I think we're going to have to make a couple more colors soon.

My beautiful kiddo's.  I love them more then they'll ever know.

I just love this picture.  Hunter just wanted to play by Kiptyn, it was so cute.  I just know they're going to be best buds.

Christmas 2010

So I was going to post a few more Christmas things last month, but it took me so long that my computer froze or it timed out or something, and it's taken me awhile to get back to it. So unfortunately I'm posting Christmas stuff in February.
Camrie had a skit at school that she did SO good in I'm so proud of her.  She memorized most of the words to the songs she sang and one of them I'd never even heard before.  She sang Jingle Bells and Here Comes Susie Snow Fake.  She was really cute.
On Christmas Eve the Holmes clan gets together to exchange gifts, and I got a picture of all the kiddo's in a circle minus Kiptyn.  We have a fun bunch of kids.
I love Christmas but I have to say that I'm glad it's over.  It's become such a hectic and stressful time of year.  I'm glad that this year I tried to concentrate more on Christ then I have in past years.  We had a couple great family home evenings that helped us prepare for Christmas.  I hope my kids understood that without Christ there would be no Christmas.  I'm hoping I can teach my kids that it's not all about gifts, but that it's about Christ giving his life for us, and it's about family, and giving more then receiving.
Merry Christmas!

Playing in the snow, Santa, the hunt, our tree.

Jamie & Camrie
Jamie decided to go inside, but while Hunter was down for a nap me an Cam made a fun sledding hill.  Am I my fathers daughter or what?
This was SO funny.  Cam went down frontwards, backwards, on her belly, back, knees.  When she went down on her belly she stood up and had a snow goatee.  Her face dipped in the snow on the way down.  We were laughing so hard.
Again, again, again...
This was cute.  Jamie set out a little bedding on the floor and laid Hunter down, put the blanket on him and he just stayed there.

It was cute, Hunter wouldn't take his eyes off of him.

Ron was a big help finding the elk.  Zach was lucky enough to help Colby bring it out.  Probably could have chose a better place to shoot it, they were hiking and hauling all day and then some.
Colby's elk. A couple nubs are broke off, but he shot a 5 point.
Jamie wouldn't go near it at first, then we couldn't keep her away from it.
Hunter with the elk.
We camped in the trailer for one night.  It was pretty fun.
Hunter loved it.
I got to go road hunting with the boys a couple times.
We got to bounce around a do some four wheeling in Ron's yellow jeep.
Yes I was there.
We got our tree up. All of the ornaments are from Cam's head and up to keep Hunter from taking off with them.
